NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
BEAR RIDGE METROPOLITAN DISTRICT
DOUGLAS COUNTY, COLORADO

 

            NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of Bear Ridge Metropolitan District (the “Board”), Douglas County, Colorado (the “District”), will meet in special session on October 14 , 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Starbucks Coffee, 6375 Promenade Parkway, Castle Rock, Colorado 80108. The meeting will also be accessible via Zoom video/telephone conference and may be joined as follows:

At this meeting, it is anticipated that the Board will make a final determination to issue general obligation indebtedness. Specifically, the Board intends to consider the adoption of a resolution authorizing the District to incur indebtedness in the form of  its Limited Tax General Obligation Bonds, Series 2026, in a maximum principal amount not to exceed $3,250,000 for the purpose of funding amounts to pay or reimburse the costs of public improvements for the District. The resolution is expected to approve certain documents, certificates and instruments in connection therewith; provide details concerning the aforementioned bonds, and funds appertaining thereto; ratify acts previously taken concerning the aforementioned bonds; repeal all resolutions in conflict therewith; and provide for other matters relating thereto.

 

The Board will also take up such other business as may be before the Board.  The meeting is open to the public.

 

Pursuant to the provisions of the Supplemental Public Securities Act: (i) no legal or equitable action brought with respect to any legislative acts or proceedings in connection with the authorization or issuance of such general obligation indebtedness may be commenced more than thirty days after the authorization of such indebtedness pursuant to the aforementioned resolution; and (ii) one or more members of the Board may participate in this meeting and may vote on the foregoing matters through the use of a conference telephone or other telecommunications device.

 

This notice is given by order of the Board of Directors of the District.
